Institut Teknologi BandungDr. I.G.B. Ngurah Makertihartha is a catalyst expert from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). His research areas include chemical reaction engineering, catalysis, and process simulation. He is known as one of the scientists behind the innovation of processing bio-based fuels together with the Katalis Merah-Putih team of ITB. Apart from that his research is supported and funded by the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Indonesia, he has commercialized several patents of catalyst technology and led many industry joint research and projects.

National University of SingaporeProfessor Iftekar Abubakar Karimi is a scientist with expertises ranging from Process Modelling Synthesis, Integration, Optimization and Development, Energy Systems and Energy efficiency, Machine Learning, Oil and Gas supply chains, Carbon Capture & Utilization, and Techno-economic analysis. He is also leading a team of Process System Engineering (PSE) that involved in directing to the Green Energy Programme. He has led many industry-collaborative research and consulting projects such as SRC, SLNG, SPPG, Shell, Rolls-Royce, Qatargas and also supported by NRF, NCCS, EMA, ExxonMobil, and SgEC.

Clean Power IndonesiaJaya Wahono is the founder and CEO of Clean Power Indonesia, an Indonesian company that specializes in the development of community-based energy forest and utilization of biomass gasification technology for various applications. He has Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology and Master of Science in Engineering Economic Studies from George Washington University, Washington DC, USA. His company is now focusing on distributed Waste to Energy development in cities and rural electrification in remote islands all over Indonesia with local biomass or MSW as primary energy source.
